Upcoming projects — industrial plant in northern Sweden
AEGIR is preparing a new project in an older industrial property with a long operating history and extensive energy needs.
The plant consists of larger premises that have been used for many years in continuous operation, where the heating systems have been progressively affected by coatings, magnetite and internal losses. It is a type of environment in which systems rarely stall, but in which performance gradually deteriorates over time.
The property covers approximately 22,000 m², distributed over multi-building parts with varying technical standards and older installations.
Recovery instead of exchange
Instead of replacing existing infrastructure implementation project with focus on restoration.
AEGIR implements AEGIR IMPULSE SYSTEM in the plant to treat the heating systems during operation. The goal is to gradually improve the internal state of the system and return its function closer to the original performance.
Integrated Filtration
As a central part of the solution, TTM FiltrX C450 is installed.
When coatings and magnetite are broken down by impulse technologyparticles are released into the system fluid. In order for these not to circulate, efficient filtering is required.
The TTM FiltrX C450 works with partial flow and enables:
- Continuous collection of magnetite and particles
- Stabilization of the system during the cleaning process
- Protection of pumps, valves and heating components
The combination of treatment and filtration ensures that the material that is degraded is also removed from the system.
Goal setting
The project has a clear direction:
- Restoring flow and heat transfer
- Reduce internal coatings and magnetite
- Stabilize system operation over time
- Improve overall energy efficiency
Energy efficiency in focus
A key objective is to achieve an improved energy efficiency of at least 10%.
By optimizing the internal operation of the system, a more efficient operation is created without increasing the energy supply.
A project with reference value
The project shows how older industrial systems can be restored through a combination of impulse technology and filtration.
It is a method that allows for improved performance, lower energy consumption and longer life — without extensive remodeling.
